Maxime Delanghe was born on May 23, 2001, in Halle, Belgium. He stands 1.89 meters tall and plays as a right-footed goalkeeper. After developing at FC Pepingen and Anderlecht, he joined PSV's academy in 2017 and later moved up to the senior side before returning to Belgium with Lierse. In July 2023, he signed with Cercle Brugge and quickly became their number one, earning a contract extension through 2028. During the 2024–25 season, Maxime made 32 appearances across league and European fixtures, recording 10 clean sheets in 2,840 minutes of play. On 1 September 2026, on the closing day of the summer window, he joined Willem II in the Eredivisie on loan from Cercle Brugge for the rest of the season.
